Almondell Results and Report - Saturday 13th May
Results and Event Report now available ...
What a fantastic day to be out orienteering! Blazing sunshine and woods carpeted with bluebells and wild garlic greeted competitors at our local event at Almondell Country Park near Livingston.
Chris's courses proved suitably challenging, with those who didn't check their control codes ruing the extra climb(s) up and down from the various bridges. Sadly (or not) no trolls were found lurking under any of the bridges waiting to challenge unsuspecting orienteers. Pip's planning ensured the event ran very smoothly - perfect weather and an ice-cream shop were added bonuses.
