TRY ORIENTEERING AT BRAIDBURN VALLEY’S ‘TEA IN THE PARK’ – SATURDAY 30 AUGUST
Looking for something active outdoors to do with the family at the end of August? Free orienteering activities will be on offer as part of ‘Tea in the Park’.
Looking for something active outdoors to do with the family at the end of August? Free orienteering activities will be on offer as part of ‘Tea in the Park’. This is the annual family fun day organised for the local community by the Friends of Braidburn Valley Park:
- Saturday 30 August
- 12.30-2.30pm
Come and find us on the grassy area at the north end of the park – look out for the big Interlopers banner.
- Micro-orienteering skills activity for kids
- Pick up FREE maps of short orienteering courses, using the permanent markers – find your best way round, as a fun challenge or race others if you want!
- Chat with club members to find out more about what orienteering could offer you

And of course enjoy all the other activities on offer – dog show, duck race, mini fair games, ice creams etc!
