New Club Development Officer Opportunity - APPLY NOW!

We are recruiting a Club Development Officer for the first time! Read on for details ...

Passionate about orienteering and keen to help it develop? Dynamic, organised and energetic, and interested in working with a wider range of people? Then this opportunity could be perfect for you – Interløpers Orienteering Club (INT), based in Edinburgh, is seeking a part-time Club Development Officer.

This new role, supported by grant funding from the Scottish Orienteering Association, is initially for 30 days work over a six-month period from this spring, at the equivalent of roughly one day per week (to be flexible as required for delivery work, particularly in the run-up to WOC 2024).   It’ll focus on engagement work across the wider Edinburgh community to promote orienteering and support newcomers to enjoy it for sport or recreation.  The intent is to capitalise on the momentum that will be created by WOC 2024 (https://www.woc2024.org/) this summer.

If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please contact either Club Chair Colin Eades (chairman AT interlopers.org.uk / 07766504905) or Katherine Ivory (katherine AT tusks.org.uk) for an informal chat asap.  Or if you know anyone who might be interested, please encourage them to look at the details.  Further information can be found in the role description and person specification here:

The deadline for applications is Sunday 28th April and interviews will be held the following week.
