TERRAIN

Mix of fast open parkland, runnable forest and dense woodland. Areas of brashing (some spikey) and Rhododendron. A network of public foot paths. Area used extensively by mountain bikers so watch out for tracks through the trees that are not formal paths on the map. The area has a number of crags and these and the ground can be slippery when wet.

The area was completely remapped for 2025, surveyed by Alasdair Pedley.

Please note that Red and Blue courses have 2 timed-out road crossings. The road crossings are at a pedestrian crossing, but are unmanned so are not suitable for U-16s. All other courses have no road crossings.
