Scottish Junior Cup
The final round of the Scottish Junior Cup was held at Anagach last Sunday, and the club has no fewer than 3 Junior Champions ... read on for more details.
On a mild September day, club juniors (and some accompanying seniors) visited Anagach Woods in Grantown on Spey for the third and final round of the Scottish Junior Cup. The first two rounds took place earlier in the year at Auchingarrich (Perthshire) and Tentsmuir (Fife). With all to play for in the final round, Anagach offered relatively flat terrain, with a number of paths and plenty of heather for those taking a more direct route.
On the day, Angus Ivory was 2nd in M18, Fiona Eades 1st in W18, and Laurence Ward 3rd in M14. Overall, those in the top half of their class were:
- W12: Lucy Ward 5th
- M14: Laurence Ward Champion, James Hartman 9th
- W18: Fiona Eades Champion
- M18: Angus Ivory Champion
Well done to all, especially our champions (more than any other club).
There were also races for accompanying adults - well done to the following in the top half of their races:
- Long: William Ivory 6th, Colin Eades 8th
- Medium: Claire Ward 2nd
- Short: Lorna Eades 3rd
