Scottish Junior Cup Round 1 - Results from Auchingarrich
Results from the first round of the Scottish Junior Cup, with wins for our juniors ...
Last weekend saw what was likely the biggest orienteering event north of the border since lockdown started over a year ago - the first round of the Scottish Junior Cup at Auchingarrich near Comrie. It was a fabulous day to be back in the forest - glorious sunshine, warm but not (quite) too warm, and spectacular views for those willing to slow down to look at them.
There were plenty of Interloper wins:
- Leah Bartlett (1st, W18S)
- Laurence Ward (M14A)
- James Hartman (M16B)
- Angus Ivory (M18L)
- Thomas Ross (M18S)
Congratulations to all of them!! Well done also to Ben Ross (7th, M14A), Lucy Ward (2nd W12A), Freya Mowbray (5th, W14A), Pippa Carcas (2nd, W18L), Fiona Eades (3rd, W18L) and Heather Hartman (7th on adult medium).
Next up it's the British Middle Distance Championships and Northern Champs double header in the Lakes on 5th-6th June...
