Orienteering Edinburgh - an exciting new challenge
A new initiative to encourage 18-35 year olds to take up orienteering launches in Edinburgh next Thursday, 10th May. Read all about it here ...
Welcome to Orienteering Edinburgh, a new initiative from the SOA (Scottish Orienteering Association) to introduce 18-35 year olds who are active and live, work and study in Edinburgh to our sport. This series of 6 events will run weekly - same time, same place (Festival Square) - starting Thursday 11th May. Regular orienteers are welcome too. If you can encourage colleagues from your workplaces in and around Edinburgh to get involved, that would be fantastic.

The SOA has produced a set of flyers to help with publicity:
- Digital flyer (to be distributed electronically, with clickable link)
- A4 flyer for printing
- A5 flyer (x2) for printing
- A4 flyer for professional printing (goes right to edge of page)
The series will be evaluated to see who it attracts, whether this approach works for attracting the 18-35 demographic and what lessons there are for repeating something similar across Scotland and the UK.
