Oxgangs Sprintelope #14 - Wednesday 27th July 2022
Bonus 14th Sprintelope of the season, in Oxgangs
The 14th Sprintelope of the 2022 season takes place on Wednesday 27th July. Like last year, we can now all race on the same evening, and won't need to allocate exact start times. Entry will be on-the-day only.

Courses, Start and Finish
There will be a short and a long course. Event is planned and organised by Graeme and Jane Ackland. As both courses involve road crossings, under-16s must be shadowed.
Registration, Start and Finish are on Firrhill Drive (North side of Colinton Mains Park). Starts will be between 6:30 and 7:30pm.
Maps will be printed on non-waterproof paper, A4 size, so please bring a polypocket if it's wet. Controls will be coloured tapes and Ukrainian blue / yellow chalk, with SI Timing for start / finish only.
- Short - approx 3.1km straight line distance
- Long - approx 4.3km straight line distance
When you have finished, please remember to download. Results will be posted to the website when ready - this may not be on Wednesday evening though! You can view the Munro League for Sprintelopes here.
SAFETY, OTHER USERS and TRAFFIC: Please take extra care when crossing roads as some roads could be busy. Please be courteous to pedestrians, cyclists, dog walkers and any other members of the public you encounter when running.
