Craigmillar Castle Park Results - Saturday 4th March 2023

Thanks to all who attended our first local event of the year at Craigmillar Castle Park. A cold but clear day tempted exactly 100 competitors out on our 3 courses. Results are available from the links below:

The courses were planned by new club members Louise Adams and Roanne Lilley and made the most of the area. Registration, finish and download were adjacent to the playpark, and start 100m to the north. We'll make sure we have a bigger sign pointing to the start next time as I think this leg was probably the hardest for everyone!
We had a large group from Erskine Stewart's Melville schools, who can be seen getting their pre-race briefing above before heading to the start where they were met by our volunteers (Morag, Graham and Lorna) shown here sporting matching club kit. After the race, a visit to the download tent was followed by post-race discussion for many.
A big thank you to all our volunteers - planners / advance organisers Roanne and Louise, on-the-day organiser Paul, and all the other club members who turned out to help.
We hope you all enjoyed the event - next up it's Kinneil Woods on 1st April.
